    General Information

     Early Years (Nursery and reception)

Children are at the beginning of their learning journey, learning about sounds, listening to stories and taking in the world around them.

Read to your child everyday. This is an important time for you and your child, to share a story.  Books can be borrowed from the school or visit your local library to borrow a selection.

Numbers are all around us; read the numbers on the buses, the prices in shops, the time on the clock.

Please read our Curriculum Booklet that was sent out at the beginning of the term.

    Key Stage 1

It is important that you read with your child every day. Share the book with your child, for example, you can read a page and the child can read a page.

Below are some helpful websites to support learning at home.

Often when children reach Key Stage 2 parents stop reading with their child. It is still very important to listen to your child read and share books with them.
