    General Information

    House System

Our new houses which started in September represents the geographical local community, they are:

Redbridge House (Colour Red – Local Authority region); Aldborough House (Colour Green – Local Ward region); Perrymans House (Colour Yellow – Road on which the school is situated) and Newbury House (Colour Blue – Our School)

Each of the classes have a colour that represents one of the houses above and there will be lots of fun activities and competitions for the children to participate throughout the year.

    Assemblies

Assemblies are held each day. Some are in classes, some are held for year groups, others as House assemblies involving children of all ages. These are important times when we can celebrate achievement. Our assemblies contain an act of worship as required by law. We respect the range of religious communities represented within the school and ensure that any act of worship made is accessible to all pupils.

Parents may withdraw their children from the act of worship element within school assemblies by writing to the Head Teacher.
