Book Week 2021
Monday 1st March 2021 – Friday 5th March 2021
Exciting News!
Next week we will be celebrating book week with a range of exciting activities, including live lessons with authors/illustrators.
We’re delighted to announce that two published authors and illustrators will be visiting us in our live lessons!
About Robyn Wilson-Owen, illustrator of Bloom
Robyn was a set, costume and puppet designer for a long time before she started illustrating. Now uses dip pens, ink and colouring pencils to create her work. She spends a lot of time drawing the world around her in her sketchbook, which is where she finds most of her ideas. |
About Victoria Crossman, author and illustrator of Queens.

After working in film costume for a number of years on projects like Harry Potter and Star Wars, Victoria turned her hand to illustration. Her costume background heavily influences the work she does. She embraces a love of detail, colour and pattern.
The technique she enjoys using most is mono print, dip pen and digitally enhancing in Photoshop.
Victoria realised that there are many amazing women throughout history who had ruled and led their people and deserved to be read about.
We’re also lucky enough to be one of the winning schools for the Inclusive Gift Pack Competition run by Scholastic.
We’ll be reading some of these fantastic new books during our live sessions next week.
This, and many more fun activities, will be posted to your Google Classroom each day during Book Week.
