This page will direct you to links to help support your child’s learning outside of the classroom.

We are using Google Classroom to enable all of our pupils to access weekly homework.

Every child has a unique login to the Classroom.

Google Classroom is a safe and secure solution for pupils to access learning materials directly from their class teachers; a location in which they can collaborate with their peers by sharing their learning and tips to completing assignments; a hub to allow hybrid learning direct from their school classrooms into the comfort of their own homes.

By clicking the link below, you will be taken directly to the Google Classroom webpage.
On the right, you will see an option to sign-in. Once in, you will be in your class page
which will provide learning for our pupils.

At NPPS we deliver our homework via 3 home learning platforms these are:
Bug Club -  Bug Club is our core homework reading program designed to help learners develop into confident and motivated readers, whilst ensuring that they understand what they read. It has an enormous range of books: fiction, non‑fiction and poetry, offering variety to keep children engaged and develop a love of reading. Besides providing  children with manageable steps in reading progression, Bug Club also enhances their vocabulary and comprehension, bringing a real sense of ongoing achievement as they move through the levels. Children are expected to read daily.

EYFS/KS1-Three times a week for a minimum 15/20 minutes.

  1. MyMaths - Mymaths is our Maths homework platform which aims to develop students’ confidence and fluency in Maths. Our platform, based on the national curriculum, has a wide range of problems aimed  to deepen pupils’ conceptual understanding and its application to real life problems. The homework is set once a week and children are expected to complete it. (https://www.mymaths.co.uk)

  2. TT Rockstars - Times Tables Rock Stars(TTRS) is our online school Maths programme that boosts children’s fluency and recall in multiplication and division. It is essential that children learn their times tables as it feeds into every aspect of mathematics. Children learn the tables in a sequence that builds up their ability to recall them. There are no complicated calculations involved; just simple fact learning followed by repetition.
