At Newbury Park, Design and Technology (DT) is an exciting and hands-on subject where pupils have the opportunity to apply their creativity and problem-solving skills to design, make, and evaluate products. Our curriculum covers a range of areas, including product design, construction, food technology, and sustainability. Pupils learn to think critically, work collaboratively, and develop practical skills that they can apply in real-world contexts. We encourage pupils to explore new materials, tools, and techniques, fostering innovation and resilience. We aim to inspire a passion for creating while equipping pupils with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the future.
