RE At Newbury Park
Our RE lead is Mrs. A. Begum
At Newbury Park, Religious Education (RE) plays an important role in helping pupils develop an understanding of the diverse beliefs and practices of others. We follow a comprehensive curriculum encouraging pupils to explore various world religions, fostering respect, empathy, and open-mindedness. Through storytelling, discussion, and reflection, pupils learn about different faiths, values, and traditions while exploring big questions about life, purpose, and morality. Our RE curriculum supports critical thinking and encourages pupils to reflect on their own beliefs, respecting and celebrating the beliefs of others.

RE Days at Newbury Park Primary School
Our RE Days provide a vibrant opportunity for pupils to explore important religious and moral themes in a creative and reflective way. Through engaging activities, guest speakers, group discussions, and hands-on learning, pupils deepen their understanding of different faiths, values, and worldviews. These special days help promote respect, empathy, and critical thinking—key to shaping thoughtful, informed global citizens.
