PE At Newbury Park
Our PE lead is Mr. D. Cordes
At Newbury Park, we proudly deliver a dynamic and inclusive physical education programme using the Real PE scheme. This innovative approach develops fundamental movement skills and fosters a love for physical activity from an early age. Pupils engage in various activities promoting physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. The programme ensures all children, regardless of ability, can progress at their own pace and experience success. Real PE encourages creativity, teamwork, and resilience, while also supporting pupils to develop confidence, problem-solving, and self-control. Our goal is to inspire lifelong physical activity and build a foundation for a healthy, active lifestyle.

Father’s Day Afternoon at Newbry Park – A Special Celebration
We had a wonderful time celebrating Father’s Day with a special afternoon dedicated to the amazing father figures in our pupils’ lives.
Families were invited into school to enjoy quality time together, take part in fun activities, and share some well-deserved treats. It was fantastic to see so many smiles, laughter, and meaningful moments as children proudly showed their dads, grandads, uncles, and other special guests around.
Thank you to everyone who joined us — your presence made the afternoon truly special. Take a look at some of the lovely moments captured in our photo gallery below!

Schools Game Mark
We are delighted to announce that we, Newbury Park Primary School, have achieved the School Games Silver Mark Award for the 2024/25 academic year. The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success.
We are extremely proud of our pupils for their dedication to all aspects of school sport. As part of our application, we were asked to fulfil criteria in the areas of participation, competition, workforce and clubs, and we are pleased that the hard work of everyone at our school has been rewarded this year.
We look forward to applying once again in 2026!
